The Right Access for Every Person on Your Team.
Control who can access each area of Ovanta, keep company workspaces isolated and combine subscription features with role permissions.
Built-In Roles.
Owner
Full access to all features, settings and company configuration. Typically the business owner or system administrator.
Admin
Broad access to operational features and settings. Can manage users and configure the system.
Manager
Access to operational features including approvals. Can review and authorise transactions submitted by operators.
Operator
Day-to-day operational access. Can create and process transactions within their permitted scope.
What's Included.
Role-based access control
Assign a role to each user. Roles determine which features and data the user can access across the platform.
Feature-level permissions
Permissions are applied at the feature level. A user's role determines what they can view, create, edit and approve.
Multi-user support
Add as many users as your plan allows. Each user has their own login credentials and role assignment.
Tenant isolation
Users only ever see data belonging to their own company workspace. There is no cross-tenant data visibility.
Approval permissions
Approval capabilities are tied to roles. Only users with the manager or admin role can approve transactions.
Audit logging
Key actions are logged against the user who performed them, giving you visibility into who did what and when.
Subscription-aware access
Module access also respects the organisation’s active Ovanta plan, so roles cannot unlock commercial features that are not included in the subscription.
Company-specific workspace
Each tenant has its own company profile, logo, operational records and users, separated from every other Ovanta customer.
